We have a lovely, new 2400 sq. ft. one-floor home with three bedrooms, three baths, great room with gas fireplace, open kitchen and dining room (spacious), glassed-in heated/cooled sun porch, and screened deck. We are on the water of Apalachicola Bay with our own dock and boatlift. St. George Island with its beautiful beaches is 15 minutes away. An annual pass to the state park is $65. We are five hours from Disney World and Cape Canaveral, five hours from Busch Gardens, and about seven hours from Atlanta. There are several gambling casinos in Mississippi, about five hours away, and New Orleans is about seven hours. There is plenty to see and do in a one day's drive. We like the quiet, quaint old seaport flavor of our community, and fresh shrimp and oysters are available daily. We are a retired couple with a dog. A pet is welcome.
